Job Availability

 

Men’s Discipleship Supervisor 

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Attending to all discipleship needs by supervising guests and providing physical, emotional and spiritual assistance as appropriate.

• Maintaining order and cleanliness of discipleship facilities, performing housekeeping duties as needed.

• Supervising discipleship men; planning and overseeing general day-to-day activities while ensuring correct procedures and proper mission standards are followed.

• Teaching Bible study lessons and life skills

• Supervising meals and preparation of meals in cook’s absence.

• Part-time hourly position, 24 hours/week with rotating weekend shifts required

• Part-time, hourly position (28 hours/week), Monday – Friday

 

Receiving Staff

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Receiving gift-in-kind store donations. 

• Testing, pricing, sorting and distributing goods to sales floor.

• Assisting truck driver with loading and unloading trucks.

• Daily store maintenance, both inside and outside.

• Part-time, hourly position (28 hours/week)

          

Childcare Coordinator

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Providing physical, emotional and spiritual care for resident children, including discipline and instruction..

• Preparing and implementing Christian-centered curriculum and activities for children preschool through age 17 as needed.

• Supporting and mentoring mothers within the shelter family program through communication and various resources.

• Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of all assigned facilities and equipment. Establishing and creating working partnerships with other agencies to provide programs and benefits to our shelter guests.

• Part-time, hourly position (25 hours/week), Monday – Friday

 

Women’s and Family Shelter Supervisor

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Attending to all shelter needs by supervising guests and providing physical, emotional and spiritual assistance as appropriate. 

• Maintaining order and cleanliness of shelter facilities, performing housekeeping duties as needed.

• Performing new guest intakes.

• Attending daily chapel service and teaching Bible study lessons when chapel speaker is absent.

• Part-time, hourly position (24 hours/week), Days vary

Men’s Shelter Supervisor

Thrift Store Manager

• All store operations at assigned location. 

• Overseeing the pricing, stocking and inventory of donated items.

• Tracking inventory levels of and preparing orders for new products.

• Required to work regular rotation on Saturdays.

• Salaried full time position/ 40 hours a week
