Volunteers For Founders Day Of Caring In Purple Shirts Smiling

Women’s and Family Shelter Lead Supervisor

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers, and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Attending to all shelter needs by supervising guests and providing physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance as appropriate. 

• Performing new guest intakes, using computer skills. 

• Maintain security of the shelter, including but not limited to, performing room checks, and security rounds.

• HMIS data entry, establish the monthly work schedule. 

• Full-time position (40 hours/week).
Flexibility in hours may be necessary to meet staffing needs. 

Men’s Residential Program Supervisor

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Maintaining order and cleanliness of discipleship facilities, performing housekeeping duties as needed. 

• Supervising discipleship men; planning and overseeing general day-to-day activities while ensuring proper mission standards. 

• Teaching Bible study and life skill lessons.

• Supervising meals and preparation of meals in cook’s absence. 

• Part-time, hourly position (24 hours/week). Days vary. 

Women’s and Family Shelter Supervisor

• Attending to all shelter needs by supervising guests and providing physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance as appropriate. 

• Performing new guest intakes, using computer skills. 

• Maintain security of the shelter, including but not limited to, performing room checks, and security rounds.

• Supervising meals and preparation of meals in cook’s absence.

• Part-time, hourly position (24 hours per week).
Flexibility in hours may be necessary to meet staffing needs. 

Cashier/Production Staff

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Greeting and assisting store customers. 

• Performing accurate handling of all sales transactions. 

• Assisting with store security. 

• Assisting with cleaning of all areas of store. 

• Assisting with sorting, hanging, pricing and stocking sales floor. 

• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor. 

• Part-time position- Hour 28/week and required to work regular rotation on Saturdays.

Thrift Store Receiving Staff

• Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with guests, volunteers and coworkers as opportunities arise.

• Receiving gift-in-kind store donations. 

• Testing, pricing, sorting and distributing goods to sales floor. 

• Assisting truck drivers with loading and unloading trucks. 

• Greeting and assisting store customers 

• Daily store maintenance, both inside and outside. 

• Part-time position, (28 hours/week).  Flexibility in hours may be necessary to meet mission needs.
