Hope for tomorrow.
We provide Christ-centered programs and services for the homeless and those in need. Our services take a holistic approach to our local homelessness community by providing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual help.
We provide temporary emergency shelter to homeless men. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, showers, clothing, chapel services, case management, and health screenings are just a few of the services provided to all mission guests. Counselors are on staff at both shelters for our guests.
The Cold Weather Policy ensures a person can find a safe place to sleep and a nutritious meal during the cold months. CWP happens approximately late November – March. Contact shelter for specific dates each year.

Muskegon Rescue Mission’s Man of Integrity Program is a year-long, comprehensive program designed to help men understand the root causes of their homelessness. The program focuses on rebuilding lives on a solid biblical foundation offering life-long solutions. All aspects of a program participant’s life are addressed – physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social.
Residents will participate in:
- Bible studies
- Spiritual and life skill counseling
- Money management classes
- Job training
- Parenting Classes
- Job search assistance
- Actively attend a church in the community.
We partner with a community of pastors, counselors, social workers, and employment agencies in order to be effective as the Spirit leads us to bring men to maturity.
After successfully completing the Discipleship Program, family, friends, and staff are invited to celebrate the life-changing transformation and accomplishments of the program graduate. Graduates then become part of our acclimation process, where we continue to mentor them as they transition to independent living.
