OUR SERVICES

Homeless Services

We provide temporary emergency shelter to homeless women, families, and children. Families with male children may stay together up to their 18th birthday, and custodial single fathers.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, showers, clothing, chapel services, case management, and health screenings are just a few of the services provided to all mission guests. Families may share meals, attend chapel together, engage in life skills classes, and enjoy family-centered case plans as they work toward ending their homelessness.

Counselors are on staff at our Community Resource Center to help those staying in shelter and in the community.

We walk alongside our guests through their transformation journey. Guests who secure full-time employment and safe housing receive:

  • Assistance furnishing new home
  • Referrals for marriage counseling

The Cold or Hot Weather Policy ensures a person can find a safe place to sleep and a nutritious meal during both the cold and hot months. Cold Weather Policy happens approximately late November – March. Hot Weather Policy happens approximately June-August. Contact the shelter for specific dates each year at 231.727.6010.
