When Temperatures Rise, Relief Begins Here.
For many of us, escaping the summer heat is as simple as stepping indoors or grabbing a cold drink.
But for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, extreme heat can quickly become dangerous.
This week we have 90 men, women, and children that will sleep safely in our shelters.
And throughout the week, even more neighbors will turn to our Community Resource Center seeking relief from the heat—a cool place to rest, cold water to rehydrate, and a free lunch served daily.
When temperatures rise, the risks rise too.
